This blog is being written to cover my newest art, commissions, openings, and shows; everything that changes too quickly to put on my website, as well as my new and in-progress work. I hope you enjoy the ongoing process that I share with you in this blog
This piece was commissioned by a Grass Valley couple. I spent a few months on it and am happy to show it completed and installed. It is 3 ft tall by 3 ft wide and weighs approximately 50 lbs. This piece is available as a limited edition of 120.
I have two workshops scheduled for July and August. I will teach you how to sculpt with a cement material made from recycled newspaper, recycled paint, cement and clay soil. The results are a clay like cement that is versatile and suitable for outdoor sculpture. This is not the material I use for my Buddha fragment sculpture, but is a fun and workable option for home projects.
